Biography

Rosebud Baker is a New York-based comedian, writer, and actress who is currently a writer for the 50th season of Saturday Night Live. Known for her sharp humor and engaging performances, Rosebud gained acclaim with her debut hour stand-up special, Whiskey Fists, which premiered on Comedy Central's YouTube channel in 2021, produced by Bill Burr's All Things Comedy. The special was celebrated by critics, leading Vulture to name her one of “Comedians You Should and Will Know in 2022” and The New Yorker to include her in their “Best Jokes of 2021.” Rolling Stone praised her humor as “ranging from merciless self-excavation to slashing social satire graced by intelligence and nuance.” In addition to SNL, Rosebud has written for two WGA Award-nominated sketch series: That Damn Michael Che and Inside Amy Schumer. She stars in the recurring role of MERI in Hulu's Life & Beth alongside Amy Schumer and Michael Cera, and appears in the upcoming horror-comedy feature film Hell of A Summer, directed by Finn Wolfhard and Billy Bryk.
