I lost my room key!

No problem! Visit Norwegian Guest Services in the Atrium (Deck 6, MID). They're open 24 hours and can replace your keycard.

Pro-tip: Norwegian's Guest Services team can also let you know your onboard spending balance at any time.

Where can I buy sunscreen or aspirin?

Gift Shops are located on Deck 7, MID. They're stocked with lots of the amenities you just can't live without.

We have one bed, but we need two...

Ring your stateroom steward at "00", and they will ensure your beds are arranged to your preference before evening turn down.

I'm on board, now what?

Cabins Cabins

Cabins Will Be Ready by 2:30pm

You will not be permitted to enter your cabin if you arrive at the ship before they have completed the cabin housekeeping services. The ship's crew will announce over the loudspeaker when all cabins are ready and this should happen around 2:30pm.

Remember, should you choose to check your bags outside the cruise terminal, know that they may be delivered outside of your cabin as late as 8:00pm, so keep items you’ll need until then in a carry-on.

Prefer to Use Cash for Onboard Purchases?

If you choose to settle your account with cash, a minimum deposit of $150.00 USD will be required. To set up your cash account, please visit Norwegian Guest Services (located in the Atrium, Deck 6, MID) as soon as you board the ship.

Safety Briefing Safety Briefing

Mandatory Safety Briefing

All guests will be required to review the NCL Mandatory Safety Briefing video before sailing so they know what to do in the unlikely event of an emergency. This video briefing will be a part of your online check-in through NCL.

Once on board, immediately report to your assigned Assembly Station with your keycard to check in. Norwegian staff and Sixthman Crew will be on hand to direct you to the proper location. Checking in at this location is required so that you know the PHYSICAL location of where you will need to go if an emergency happens while sailing.

Event Photos Event Photos

Sixthman Photos

Keep an eye out around the ship for our Sixthman photographers! They will be wearing Sixthman CREW shirts and will be snapping pics throughout your vacation. These photos will be available for digital download (for FREE!) after your vacation at www.sixthmanphotos.com.

Our photographers are often sailing on several consecutive events so times for photo uploads may vary. Your patience is appreciated!

NCL Photos

You will also see NCL photographers set up in different areas and walking around the ship. They will have on an NCL uniform consisting of a polo and their NCL name tag. These photos are available for purchase in the Photo Gallery (Deck 7, FWD) while we are sailing. These are no longer available once we debark the ship, so be sure to pick yours up by the final day of sailing!

Tips for the Terminal

Check your Luggage Check your Luggage

Ditch those heavy bags!

Lighten your load! Check your bags with a porter before you enter the cruise terminal for easy boarding.

Bags will be delivered to your room by 8:00pm ET so be sure to keep anything you might need in your carry-on bag (passport, medicine, etc.).

Please note that curbside porters are not employees of Norwegian and it’s customary to tip them $1 per bag.

Terminal + Security Terminal + Security

Look for the Underground Garage Cruise Flags

Once you arrive at Cruise Port of Miami Terminal C, pay attention to the Underground Garage Cruise directional banners/flags to make sure you enter the correct side of the Terminal (East v West). It's based on your CABIN NUMBER. More details to come before we sail.

Breeze through Security

You can keep your shoes on but belts and laptops will need to go into a bin for screening. Also, wine and champagne need be taken out. Just like at the airport, throw away open drink containers and empty your pockets.

For your theme night attire, please keep in mind that anything that may look like a weapon may be seized by security agents so it's better to leave those items safely at home.

How long will waiting to board take?

When completing your online check in, you'll be prompted to pick a terminal arrival time. Please note: this is NOT your boarding time. After checking in at the terminal you'll find a seat and wait until boarding begins, generally after 11:30am ET.

Will there be food and beverages available at the terminal?

The terminal does NOT have vending machines or any other place to purchase food or beverages. Please plan to grab breakfast before arriving, as boarding will not begin until after 11:30am ET.
