From January 6-10, 2011, Sister Hazel will once again host Sixthman’s most popular (and inaugural) music-themed cruise: The Rock Boat! The Rock Boat is a twenty-four-hours-a-day floating music festival, boasting a more than sixty-percent rate of returning guests.

This will be the eleventh Rock Boat journey; the lineup, in addition to Sister Hazel, will include Alternate Routes, Elmwood, Gaelic Storm, Green River Ordinance, Matt Hires, Will Hoge, Tony Lucca, Nada Surf, Ponderosa, and more. This year The Rock Boat will sail to “Somewhere”: a port unnamed until the day of departure, so Sixthman and Carnival can determine the port with the fairest weather.  This year’s event will be hosted during a four-day cruise aboard the Carnival Inspiration from Tampa.

Sixthman has promised to amp up this year’s voyage: “We’re taking it to 11!” says owner Andy Levine, referencing everyone’s favorite rockumentary, Spinal Tap. Sister Hazel is also excited: “Although Rock Boat X was a huge celebration, it's only the beginning.  After all, Rock Boat XI is one better. We're totally excited about the band line up and some of the surprises we've got in store for everyone. Are we there yet?”

Enhancements to The Rock Boat XI include a re-vamped lineup that mixes Rock Boat favorites with fresh talent, a more rock-friendly dining experience, and intimate meet-and-greets with the artists.
