VH1 BCE 2011?

I haven't heard ANYTHING about this cruise since we sailed. Is this one going again next year? I'd post in the "Ask Sixthman" thread, but I think Steve was leading that and he peaced out of Sixthman last month.

So... BCE 2011? Is that gonna happen? Will there be a BCE 2?

I think there are quite a few of us who are eagerly awaiting a BCE 2011 announcement. If my memory serves correctly, they announced BCE 2010 in the July/August timeframe. Here's hoping we hear something...anything...by the end of summer.

Yep another one here waiting for an announcement, I think it takes some time / negotiating with bands and so forth so hopefully they'll let us know soon whether or not they are planning a BCE II?

I believe they announced it mid July last year as I booked on August 1st.

I need something to look forward to.

Ok guys, now I don't know exactly how reliable this information is...BUT someone posted on the BCE facebook page the following:

Just got done doing an online chat with Sixthman, they did tell me they are in the starting phases of putting together another one. So VH1 Best Cruise Ever the sequel is in the works!!

So maybe we'll hear something official within the next month or two. Fingers crossed!

Yah, I need to know the artists too...of course right now I'm saying HELL YAH I'M GOING!!! But, it really does matter who the artists are. I really wish they would keep: 3 Doors Down, Shinedown, Black Stone Cherry, Lifehouse, and 7dayBINGE no matter what!!!!!!! But I really doubt that's gonna happen...

I just want to know the on sale date so I can secure my cabin! Getting all this info so slowly is killing me, lol. I'd love to see Lifehouse and Shinedown again. I think Theory of a Dead Man would be a great addition. And I would be over the moon if my new favorite band, The Daylights, signed on. I think I would literally explode with happiness.

I'm sure The Daylights aren't to everyone's taste, but I found them about 6 months ago and love them. I mostly catch them on my my favorite satellite radio station versus local.

Yikes about that airfare! That's quite pricey. I hope you can luck out finding some deal somewhere. Now that we know the dates I can hardly wait for more info.

I'm still a noob around these parts with only 3 total, 2 TRB and 1 BCE, but I don't think there are any discounts for 1 time a year cruisers besides the standard military & paid in full. As for pricing, I would think it would be similar to last year, but again, I'm still a noob so I'm not sure.

I'm glad they gave us a date so at least we know something is in the works, but like others have said, it's the artists that I care about. I am sad that it's no longer on my birthday like last year. Although I had a lot of fun last year, I doubt I can go on this cruise. Last year I was able to go b/c I didn't have work. I'm already booked on TRB, so I don't think I can swing getting off work for 2 cruises. I'll have to see, if there is the perfect artist for me, I might just have to swing it.
