Heehee...I'm soooo happy I'm not the only one this has happened to! Dallas, July 1, hottest freakin' day of the summer, Kid Rock, front row-center. During LS performance, something started stinkin' real bad....then during intermission, HUGE dude next to me went to go get a beer or whatever...everyone started lookin' around....then started laughing...we all were so relieved that it was him...not us that was stinking!! Needless to say he did come back for KR...Boohoo for me cause he was standing right next to me again...when KR put his hand out to everyone I had to take a very quick backstep (and I mean very quick!) to prevent myself from being under this dudes armpit!(ughh) And I did actually get a "what's up" look from KR for not taking his handshake! Sometimes ya gotta laugh...and please, everyone put the word out...if ya gonna raise your arms to rock...put some "stop stink" on before you go!

I had a guy at Needtobreathe concert two weeks ago at a sold out show litterally park his behing against my waist the entire night, and lean against the stage so no one could see around him. I love the music, but it only takes one person to ruin the show. I can also add the girls who litterally threw me away from the stage (where I had been since the doors opened at Hotel Carolina) and into Iris's wheelchair. Not cool.

Arg. I've had a great concert experience almost wrecked by annoying people. Most of the time if it gets too bad I just move myself to the back where it is much more tolerable, otherwise yeah I'm close but having a terrible time.

P.S. This is why I love The Rock Boat and I'm sure all Sixthman cruises… a boat full of people who love live music and respect the artists and fellow passengers.

Good point. I also have issues with those people that try to push their way to the front right as the main performer comes out. Or silly girls that bring their HUGE purse that keeps banging into everyone around them.

But on the flip side, I've also met some pretty cool people. I figure if you are going to stand that close to each other for that long, might as well make the most of it.

Other things that perplex me at concerts:
1. Why does everyone cheer when the artist sings/says the F word. It's not like we do this outside of a concert setting.
2. Why do people call their friends during their favorite song and hold up the phone? The person on the other end can actually hear it and way to rub it in man.
